See You in St. Louis! JES Readying 2003 AIFD National Symposium
for Floral Designers from Across the Globe.

(Baltimore, MD) - The American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), a client of ASAE accredited association management company The Joseph E. Shaner Company, has announced detailed plans and registration options for its National Symposium "The Prairie School" which will take place in St. Louis, Mo, July 4-7 at the Adam's Mark Hotel.

Talmage McLaurin AIFD of Topeka, KS, is serving as chairman of the event and Bill Harper AIFD of Kansas City, MO is coordinating the educational programs.

In addition to the dynamic education program AIFD has in store, the Institute will also conduct its second Accreditation Evaluation Session (AES) immediately prior to the Symposium in St. Louis. The AES provides AIFD a means of evaluating prospective members and in so doing granting them the coveted status of being Accredited In Floral Design and a member of AIFD.

This year's Symposium offers several attractive registration options to floral design artists. AIFD stresses that registration to its Symposium is open to all designers - not just AIFD members. Attendance to a Symposium is a pre-requisite to making application to become a member.

Among the registration options are the full package which includes all educational sessions as well as the elaborate meal programs, an education-only package which includes all educational sessions but not meals, single days registrations and a special "weekend only" package which features the programs held on Saturday and Sunday (a great option for Mid-America florists).
