IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Baltimore,
MD) - The Joseph E. Shaner Co. has been honored by the Appraisal Institute
with the Outstanding Education Network Provider Award for its work
on the behalf of the Maryland Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
The award was part of the Appraisal Institute Awards Ceremony held
in Chicago on November 15. The Institute's
President, Alan Hummel, SRA, said the award is a "tribute to
the exceptional management provided to the Maryalnd Chapter by The
Joseph E. Shaner Co. in the successful delivery of first-rate educational
programs." Established
in 1974 by Thomas C. Shaner, a Certified Association Executive (CAE),
The Joseph E. Shaner Co. provides association management services
to over a dozen prominently recognized non-profit trade and professional
associations including the American Institute of Floral Designers,
Professional Grounds Management Society, Maryland Optometric Association,
Maryland Chiropractic Association, Maryland Association of Mortgage
Brokers, Maryland Improvement Contractors Association and the Chesapeake
Human Resources Association. Also served by the Shaner organization are the Building Owners and Managers Association of Baltimore; the Maryland Chapters of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, Appraisal Institute, Criminal Defense Attorneys and Public Relations Society of America; Property Owners Association of Baltimore, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Baltimore and the Baltimore City Dental Society. ###
