E. Shaner Company (Baltimore, MD) - The Joseph E. Shaner Company, an ASAE accredited association management company, has announced the hiring of Eric M. Grammer to fulfill the online and public relations needs of its non-profit trade and professional association clients. In the position of Communications Coordinator, Grammer will design and manage client Web sites, as well as handling client newsletters and media relations. "Hiring Mr. Grammer for this new position enhances our capabilities as well as those of our clients," said Joseph E. Shaner Co. President Thomas C. Shaner. "We will now be able to offer stable cost-effective Web design and management services to our clients on a daily basis." Grammer previously handled Webmaster and public relations duties as editorial coordinator at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has an M.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in journalism from Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif. This past Novermber, Grammer was honored by the Public Relations Society of America with the Betsy Plank Graduate Research Award. The Joseph
